Cookies
We use so-called "cookies" on our website, text files that are stored on your computer. This allows your computer to be identified during your visit to the website. You have the option to set your Internet browser to inform you about the occurrence of cookies, so that you can allow or exclude them, or delete existing cookies. In principle, our website can also be used without accepting cookies, although individual functionalities may then be restricted. Cookies do not allow a server to read private data from your computer or the data stored by another server.
Web analytics
In order to get information about the use of our website, to improve our internet offer, we use the following tool:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, the web analytics service of Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA, responsible for Europe is Google Limited Ireland ("Google") on our websites. To disable Google Analytics, Google provides a browser plug-in at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Google Analytics uses "cookies". These enable an analysis of the use of our website by Google. The information collected by the cookie about the use of our site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is active, Google truncates IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which is why no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google may associate your IP address with other data held by Google. For data transfers to the USA, Google has undertaken to sign and comply with the EU standard contractual clauses.
Other third-party tools
Google Maps
On our website we use Google Maps (API) from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; responsible for Europe is Google Limited Ireland, "Google"). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information. Already when calling up those sub-pages in which the map of Google Maps is integrated, information about your use of our website is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. For data transfers to the USA, Google has undertaken to sign and comply with the EU standard contractual clauses.
YouTube
Our site uses the provider YouTube LLC , 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the integration of videos. Normally, when you call up a page with embedded videos, your IP address is already sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have not embedded the videos directly into the page, but first show only a preview image. This means that no data is forwarded to YouTube when a page with videos is loaded.
When you click on the video, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube and YouTube learns that you have viewed the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information is also assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).
We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. You can find more information in YouTube's privacy policy at www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
